Ingersoll Rand's Integrated Technologies & Services Division is hiring an Account Manager to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for driving the "Light Industrial" (generally under 50 HP) Compressed Air Equipment Sales and Service activity. Reporting out of our Customer Center in Norcross and traveling in a defined geographic area of Greater Metro Nashville TN, this includes quoting, strategizing, prospecting, and developing relationships to achieve revenue targets, maximize profits, increase market share and maintain customer loyalty while achieving organizational goals. The position is a unique blend of supporting a major distributor and selling direct to customers.

The selected candidate would reside within the territory as to be centrally located within the region and call-on/service customers/prospects most efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for generating sales of equipment, service contracts, and service offerings with our direct end users and partners selling to a defined customer base within a geographic area.
  • Provide and design compressed air solutions to fulfill industrial customer needs, including compressed air equipment, accessories, turnkey installations, service, parts, service, rental equipment and energy audits.
  • Provide selling skills and product/services training for dealer sales personnel (as required) as well as personnel within customer center.
  • Ensure adherence to safety rules (vehicle safety, customer site safety) in the field, as well as in the customer center.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in an industrial sales business setting. Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years; Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years. #LI-SS1 #remote

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,286.43 per year
