Chang Chun Group is one of the largest high-tech chemical materials producers in Taiwan. Having locations in several regions of the world, Chang Chun Group established Chang Chun (Arizona), LLC to be the United States branch of production. Once built, the new plant will reside in Casa Grande, AZ. Construction is expected to be completed in the Fall of 2023, and until then, Chang Chun (Arizona), LLC is operating in Chandler, AZ.

What will I be doing?

The Accounting Assistant is responsible for assisting with the activities of the overall general accounting function. This person will oversee, implement, and maintain accounting systems, procedures, and policies. This position ensures the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of accounting data and acts as a liaison between the company, government, client, and CPA auditors in providing the required information and ensuring that proper information is maintained.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Assist China and Taiwan accounting teams to manage accounting affairs including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, prepayments, accruals, journal entries, bank reconciliations, etc., ensuring timely submission prior to month end.
  • Responsible for the completion and filing of tax in United States.
  • Submit weekly and monthly financial and management reports as assigned.
  • Serving as company liaison with auditors (annual and semi-annual financial audits, daily affairs)
  • Manage global relationships with internal customers and/or assist in problem resolution.
  • Assist international development of internal control and internal audit functions to prevent mismanagement of corporate assets.
  • Perform basic office tasks, such as data entry, answering phones, processing the mail.
  • Communicate with relevant suppliers to process invoicing or payment queries.
  • Prepare and process supplier payments ensuring that manager has signed off on all payments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

· Fluency in Mandarin in both written and verbal communication is a plus.

Required Education and Experience?

· High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required

· 1 to 3 years of experience

· Basic database experience, 10-key by touch calculator

· Familiarity with SAP system is a plus.
