Position: Accounts Payable I

Primary Location: Hybrid - Long Beach, CA 90802.

Pay rate: $21.46/hr.

Contract will start: 05/29/2023

Clinic Hours: Remote on Mon and Fri (8:30am-5:30pm)
In Office on Tues, Weds and Thurs (8:30am-5pm)

Contract Length: 3 Months Contract

Vaccine Requirement: Vaccine required

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable I is processing invoices, doing check runs and ACH payment runs, assisting where needed
• Accounts Payable I close month end, reconcile and allocate expenses.
• Accounts Payable I complete AP invoice tickets, identifying proper GL account number and accounting period including performing research of incoming invoices to ensure that proper approvals have been obtained and supporting documentation has been provided and to prevent duplicate payments
• Accounts Payable I Issue A/P checks and Research and verify old outstanding invoices as requested

Requirements:

• High School diploma Required
• 2 years experience in accounts payable and/or receivables.
• Acctg or Finance experience a plus.

• Long Beach, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accounts payable: 2 years (Preferred)
• Accounts receivable: 1 year (Preferred)
• Accounting or Finance: 1 year (Preferred)
