ROLE SUMMARY
The Account Lead is a critical leader on the team whose focus is to be responsible for our IDN and Key Account strategy, c-suite engagement at our IDNs, Centers of Excellence (CoE), and advancing and executing the IDN marketing efforts in health systems. This is a high visibility, mission-critical role that requires significant cross-functional collaboration to advance projects that will increase the uptake of Oxbryta in our key US health systems, a critical business growth driver for the brand.
This role requires senior level marketing expertise and leadership skills. The role also requires strong strategic and analytical thinking as well as creativity and decision-making skills, along with a proven track record of success in working in a team-based environment, with multiple marketing and cross-functional partners. Given the dynamic nature of the business, the role requires an adaptable and high-energy colleague.
This position reports to the US SCD Marketing Team Lead.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities for the role include:
  • Leverage cross-functional partnerships to grow top CoEs/IDNs and develop c-suite engagement plan
  • Lead development and evolution of the Health Systems strategy and key initiatives, such as product and disease value proposition and key messaging, account characterization strategy and oversight
  • Lead ongoing collaboration with cross-functional colleagues from Rare Disease (RD) including RD and KAM leadership
  • Represent the brand on cross-brand and cross-BU health system workstreams
  • Lead relevant CoE/IDN components of Operating Plan, business review and earnings preparation presentations
  • Lead development and execution of internal and external partnerships to further advance health system objectives
  • Lead development and execution of health system KOL strategy
  • Support efforts by the Enterprise team to execute on innovative pilots
  • Partner with the Global team to identify innovative approaches
  • Support efforts by Account Teams to execute timely and effectively end-to-end projects focused on deploying a meaningful intervention within health systems. Set up a dashboard to track progress across the various projects
  • Optimize key resources to address feedback from customers
  • Report progress and frame/elevate key decisions to commercial leadership, consisting of cross-functional leaders from Rare Disease who are responsible for project funding and strategic oversight
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • MBA or other advanced degree highly desirable
  • >10 years healthcare industry experience
  • Previous in-line marketing experience required. IDN or Health Information Technology experience preferred
  • Specialty or rare disease experience preferred
  • Track record of innovation, leadership and significant contribution to the growth of brands
  • Demonstrated success in developing, executing, and measuring complex programs or initiatives
  • Ability to work under pressure, to take accountability for business challenges, think strategically and tackle complex problems. Proven track record of operating in a fast-paced, high energy environment. Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, extract key insights, and translate these into meaningful strategies and results
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts, synthesize relevant data, and execute in the face of ambiguity or change

Work Location Assignment: On Premise
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $156,900.00 to $261,500.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.
Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
