Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist with Collections experience.
Responsible for overseeing ticket sales and all aspects of the box office operation by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates:
ASM Global is in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. The Accounts Receivable Specialist prepares accounts receivable transactions and processes customer payments. This role also create invoices according to company practices and submit them for approval by management or clients. Collection calls and emails and tracking for status updates when necessary. Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts. High attention to service with diplomacy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Specialist responsibilities include:
Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data
Preparing bills receivable, invoices and bank deposits
Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

Requirements and skills
Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Specialist
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (JDE or other full-scale ER software)
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Knowledge of accounting and financial procedures, including recordkeeping and reconciliation

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer experience including spreadsheets and computerized ticket systems.
Other Qualifications
Ability to work irregular hours, shifts that include nights, graveyard shift, weekends and holidays.
