Experience: The applicant must have a strong working knowledge of, and ability to teach Franchise Law.
Duties/Expectations: The position will teach one section of Franchise Law. This course is an introduction to franchise law and the legal aspects of distributing products in the United States through independent entities. In particular, the course will focus on the relationship between franchisor and franchisees and the law used to regulate that relationship.
The adjunct faculty member will not be asked to attend department meetings. She or he will be expected to spend some time outside of class to address questions related to the class.
