Benefits to you

Position Highlights
The
Polk County Circuit Court
in Dallas, Oregon, is hiring an Administrative Coordinator to join our management team.
In this role, you will provide direct support and assistance to the Trial Court Administrator and the court’s management team by performing administrative duties in these functional areas: personnel, budget, purchasing, facilities, technology, project management, and legislative mandates.
Additionally, you will be the primary contact and administrator for the court’s Workday functions. You will collaborate with OJD’s Human Resource Services Division to process FMLA/OFLA time tracking and reporting and to process workers’ compensation claims, leave requests, recruitments, terminations, and position changes. You will also participate on interview panels.
Your duties will also include compiling data and drafting, typing, formatting, and proofreading correspondence, reports, charts, graphs, spreadsheets, training materials, and documents. You will also process mail, prepare and monitor purchase orders, process travel reimbursements, and function as the petty cash custodian for the court.
Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have an Associates of Arts degree in business administration, management, business law, or a related field
AND
Have four (4) years of administrative experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this position.
OR
Have any combination of
education and experience
equivalent to six (6) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.

Working Conditions
  • This is a full-time position, and the work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per work week.
  • Occasional after-hours or overtime work may be required.
  • This position participates in and attends a variety of interagency, statewide, and internal meetings to represent the interests and needs of the judicial district. Statewide travel, sometimes overnight, may be required.
  • Frequent phone and in-person contact with people from diverse backgrounds and with people who may be facing challenging life circumstances or highly stressful situations.
  • Long periods of sitting or standing at a computer may be required.
  • Regular use of the following equipment: telephone, OJD-assigned computer with multiple monitors, copy machine, fax machine, and scanner.
