Coordinates daily activities for the Vehicle Code Enforcement services including, compliance and enforcement, research, prepares reports as requested on legislation, rules, operational policies/procedures and other factors having an impact on operations.
Enforces codes and ordinances.
Conducts field and vehicle inspections, as well as undercover operations with law enforcement.
Prepares cases for law enforcement or County Attorney or Licensing Board. Provides law enforcement with evidence and expert testimony in cases, and issues county notice of violations and citations.
Maintains current and accurate records, updates case files and computer records as needed to compile information. Assist in license application and processing and in education of operators, vendors, and public regarding laws, ordinances and statues.
Assists with planning, developing, authorizing, implementing, and evaluates programs/projects, activities and services with airport-wide impact.
Advises and assists the supervisor related to vehicle code enforcement activities.
Conducts special research in conjunction with the vehicle code enforcement section, analyzes operational data, and makes recommendations based upon research.
Identifies and understands agency/business needs, contractual business requirements, and regulations governing local, state and other requirements.
Provides assistance and training of division staff and contracted services providers.
Provides assistance with planning, organizing and implementing a compliance and monitoring program, field documentation reviews, investigations or management studies.
Be able and available to work rotating shifts and assignments including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Be able to work in various locations/environments including office, airport terminals, terminal curbside and the airfield.
Performs related work as assigned.
Performs light work that involves walking or standing most of the time and involves exerting up to 20 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis, or skill, adeptness and speed in the use of fingers, hands or limbs on repetitive operation of electronic office equipment within moderate tolerances or limits of accuracy.
Involves routine and frequent exposure to traffic; moving machinery.
