Springs Fabrication is hiring a Assembly Technician for our Colorado Springs location!

As an Assembly Technician you will be responsible for designing and improving manufacturing techniques through specification and implementation of new machinery and processes and maintenance of equipment currently in use.

Key Responsibilities:

• All those associated with an Assembly Helper.
• Assemble projects per established plans.
• Performs medium to complex heavy assembly tasks under the guidance of Assembly Team Lead or Assembly Manager.
• Confer with Production to solve manufacturing problems and improve processes

• High level of mechanical knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Must know how to use tools
• Ability to operate a fork-lift and man-lift
• Able to do heavy lifting and work on man-lifts, 20+ ft
• Knowledge of rigging is preferred
• Knowledge of pipe-fitting is preferred
• Basic knowledge of machining and fabricating, i.e.: able to run a mill, lathe, welder
• Ability to work self-directed
