ASSISTANT FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER

The Assistant F&B Manager is primarily responsible for delivering an exemplary Food & Beverage experience at our Founders Grill (Grill). As well as supporting all other areas of our F&B operations. The Assistant F&B Manager reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director.

Responsibilities:

· Manage all aspects of the Grill.

  • Hires, trains, and manages all Grill staff.

· Assist in development, implementation and follow up in the training of all F&B coworkers.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures including attendance, timekeeping, dress code, safety, P.A.C.E. culture training etc.

· Development of the work schedule for the Grill staff.

  • Assists with development of the work schedules for the Clubhouse staff when assigned.

· Conducts all inventory, ordering, stocking, rotation, pricing, BIB soda, mixers, and CO2 for the Grill and Clubhouse when assigned.

· In cooperation with the F&B Director and Executive Chef builds menus.

· Develops and trains all alcoholic mixology processes. Serves as bartender at the Grill and Clubhouse when needed.

· Participate in all sales, Banquet Event Planning, and training meetings.

  • Remain up to date on events that are occurring and execute all areas of responsibility.

· Conduct BEO meetings with Founders Grill Supervisors and Staff daily or as needed.

· Assumes the front of house “Manager on Duty” responsibility in the absence of the F&B Director or F&B Manager.

· Works in collaboration with the F&B Director to ensure that all members and their guests are satisfied with their food and service, responds to any additional requests or concerns immediately.

· Provides feedback to the F&B Director and/or Executive Chef regarding member/guest/staff compliments or concerns. Complete the communications loop.

  • Submit or direct all daily and weekly submissions of food, beverage, and supply orders for the Grill.
  • Check in deliveries and sign off on the delivery after all product has been accounted.
  • Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly inventories.
  • Conducts and controls all cash handling, member charges or credit card transactions for the Grill or other areas assigned.
  • Works with staff to ensure all POS sales orders are correct and complete and meet presentation and quality standards.
  • Completes or directs completion of all daily side work according to the closing processes.
  • Completes or directs completion of any additional tasks, set up, and/or tear down as needed for Grill area, member dining, and/or banquet functions.
  • Maintains and oversees all cleanliness of tables, dishes, glassware, equipment, supplies, storage areas, refrigerators, windowsills, carpets, counters, floors, restrooms as needed.
  • Follows procedures in the selling and serving of alcoholic beverages, requests identification from members/guests that appear to be under 40 years of age and discontinues alcoholic beverage service to any member/guest that appears to be intoxicated. Follow Serv Safe guidelines.
  • Verify cash drawer and balance against receipts daily or as applicable.
  • Conducts all end of day reports and server check outs during shift as applicable.
  • May work in other departments in other capacities as deemed necessary by the Food & Beverage Director.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
