What We Expect:

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Take drink orders, prepare cold and hot beverages, and then serve them in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and process customer transactions while maintaining other duties.
  • Accurately process transactions through the POS and counts back change to customers.
  • Meet all Four Seasons and Health Department food, beverage and safety standards including San Diego Food Handler’s card.
  • Follow proper payroll procedures.
  • Conduct all opening procedures including obtaining setting up the complimentary coffee and food displays.
  • Provide information and assistance to residence club guests as requested, give them an orientation of the facilities, and is familiar with all hotel services and hours of operation.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed when using the food and beverage equipment and notify Security of any accident or injury.
  • Stock, re-stock, and organize the retail items in the coffee shop needed to provide guests with a level of service in keeping with a Four Seasons.
  • Handle any guest inconvenience or complaint swiftly, with a smile and to the satisfaction of the guest, informing management of the situation and how you resolved it.
  • Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.

Skills/Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
