Responsibilities:
The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.
  • Collect money for drinks served.
  • Check the identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
  • Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
  • Balance cash receipts.
  • Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons.
  • Stock the bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws.
  • Serve wine, cocktails, and beer
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
  • Clean bars, work areas, and tables.
  • Serve snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar.
  • Slice fruit for garnishing drinks.
Qualifications:
  • Bartenders must possess ServSafe certification or acquire it upon hire.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while standing for long hours on your feet
  • Prior bartending experience is helpful but not necessary
  • Single Bed, no pets. If interested, inquire during job interview
