Job Description

The primary objective of the Inside Sales Specialist is to be a direct representative capable of making sound decisions on behalf of Express. This individual is responsible for generating additional sales through follow-up on unclosed sales appointments and saving potential cancellation of sales orders before installation. They will serve as a back-up for the Sales Managers when the Design Consultants need assistance with pricing or closing while on site. This position will interact with various departments including sales, operations, order entry, purchasing and the call center.

This individual will be involved in creating a positive customer sales experience and driving 5 Star Reviews. This person will drive the achievement of stated goals and ensure program success with a high sense of urgency and focus on incremental revenue generation. This is a fast-paced environment where creating urgency and excitement over the phone is important.

Essential Functions

  • Follow-up on all unclosed appointments to attempt to close incremental sales (Text, Outbound Calls, Emails).
  • Work with prospects wanting to cancel their installation (We will provide the training & tools for success).
  • Back up the Sales Manager by fielding calls from Design Consultants when needing help with pricing.
  • Monitor and review every cancellation that comes through daily; Contacting them to save.
  • Ensure feedback to Sales Manager for coaching opportunities for Design Consultants.
  • Attain Command Center sales goals and revenue objectives.
  • Perform reselections when needed remotely or schedule appointment for DC to return.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or proven track record with work experience.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft office / Technology Skills to learn new programs.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and operate under tight timelines.
  • Inside Sales Experience preferred (Home Improvement or Similar Industry or Familiar with In-Home Sales)
  • Knowledge of sales tactics, closing skills, and processes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing (Operating primarily over the phone).
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with company employees, managers, customers, and prospects.
  • Able to use sound business judgment and enact strong business ethics.
  • Customer Service Skills.
  • Good Organizational and Follow-up Skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
