Constellation ABA is looking for caring, compassionate, mentor-minded people that want to teach individuals with developmental disabilities to thrive.

A Behavior Technician works with children on the autism spectrum to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming in the home-based setting. This position has also been referred to as an ABA Therapist.

The hours for this position are Sunday -Wednesday 8:00-6:00 pm

WHAT DOES A BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN DO?

  • Implements one-on-one ABA programs developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the client's home setting
  • Collects and reports data for target behaviors to assigned BCBA supervisor
  • Participates in behavior management programming for assigned clients
  • Works with families and provides family training
  • Participates in team building activities, meetings and ongoing training

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children (preferably children with autism and/or special needs)
  • Maintain a valid driver's license in applicable state and own viable transportation
  • Travel to and from assigned client homes

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT)
  • Bilingual
