Who We Are

Woodfords Family Services is a nonprofit organization that's been committed to the support and inclusion of people with special needs and their families in Maine communities for over 55 years! Today, the organization provides an array of clinical, behavioral health and educational programs to more than 2,000 children, youth and adults living with autism, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses across the state of Maine.

Position Summary

As a Woodfords' HCT Behavioral Health Professional, your work will be integrated within the family system and include the provision of therapeutic supports for both the consumer with special needs and their family members. You will serve a significant role in guiding, teaching, and equipping children and teens with the resources and skills necessary to lead and manage their lives with independence.

You collaboration with a Master's level clinician, you will help to plan and implement evidence-based interventions that target identified goals within home and community based settings and support healthy development and function.

Schedule & Compensation

• $20 per hour plus opportunities for additional pay bonuses bi-weekly starting at $50 with no cap on earning potential!!

• Weekday afternoons and evenings, and weekend flexibility
• Full-time positions range 30-40 hours/week.

Qualifications & Requirements

A minimum of 90 college credit hours in an unrelated field

Or

A minimum of 60 college education credit hours in a related field of social services, human services, health or education

Or

A high school diploma or equivalent AND a minimum of three (3) years' direct experience working with children in a behavioral health children's services program

• Ability to work independently in home and community settings required with weekly clinical and administrative supervision provided.

• Completion of the full Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) Certification within one year of date of hire. (Paid by Woodfords!)
• Candidates must have a valid driver's license; have the use of a reliable vehicle.
