BI Developer Associate to Senior

As a business intelligence developer associate to senior in the Commercial Lines group, you'll assist our business partners with their data analysis and reporting. This will include your coding of complex, cost-effective solutions for business-related problems. You'll interact daily with our business customers, serving as a knowledge expert to prepare business-specific data analysis, build new and maintain existing ETL structures (extract, transfer, load), multidimensional cubes, and reporting to aid in their decision-making.

Must-have qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Business Management).
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 1 year related work experience with working knowledge of designing/developing, programming and supporting software programs/applications.
Preferred skills
  • Proficient with the Microsoft BI stack (SSIS,SSAS), including recent versions of SQL Server. Also proficient with Tableau or similar.
  • Strong experience in design and implementation of ETL framework for complex data mart projects. Plus, experience in multiple database platforms, including SQL Server and DB2/Oracle.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data quality with proven ability to architect and build solution-oriented data models (i.e., architecture, business process, design, and the implementation of automation).
  • Experience working with data analysts, IT, and/or project teams to define data requirements and execution to streamline the data ingestion.
  • Scripting language skills – C#, Python to aid with complex ETL structures & along with some application development knowledge. Knowledge of Big Data technologies and Cloud (i.e., Azure, AWS, Snowflake).
Compensation
  • $51,200 - $99,800/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare bonus up to 16 to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
