At LiquiGlide we develop solutions to fundamentally alter the interface between liquids and
solids, enabling a new engineering paradigm with immense versatility and the ability to
profoundly improve the usability, patency, and safety of medical devices. Applications include
vascular access catheters, syringes, devices for emergency airway access, parenteral feeding,
ostomy, blood collection and storage, and many more.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work across all stages of development, from early innovation to product development and commercialization.
  • Translating ideas to the bench for proof-of-concept, developing simulated use test environments
  • Prototyping, conducting all manner of functional tests including designed experiments (DOEs)
  • Transferring technologies to manufacturing, interfacing with clients and partners, and reporting to
senior leadership.

Skills and Experience
  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Materials Science, or related field: BS + 3-5 years of experience, or MS + 1-3 years of
experience
  • Ability to work in both chemical and mechanical laboratories, and to conduct
experiments independently and with attention to detail
  • Creative and entrepreneurial mindset, excellent learning agility, team player, and ability
to work nimbly in a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written), and ability to
work in a design controlled environment
  • Basic skills with solid modeling using CAD software, as well as hands-on experience
with 3-D printing and other prototyping methodologies
