Overview:

The operational tasks of the branch manager include of sales, customer service, profitability, productivity, and loss prevention. Communicates and enforces store goals and regulations, as well as ensures compliance with security, sales, safety, and recordkeeping standards. Coaching, instruction, and direction to ensure achievement of branch sales, customer service, profitability, warehouse operations, and delivery operations objectives. The ideal candidate will poses exceptional leaderships that will cultivate their team, growth of the branch, and customer-focused relationships.

Position summary:

· Ensures that customers receive timely, professional service in-person and over the phone by defining standards and continuously monitoring quality. Interacts directly with customers during high-volume periods or with critical customer accounts.

· Determines customer needs in collaboration with Outside Sales personnel, develops sales programs and promotions, and implements and maintains established programs. On a regular basis, provides Outside Sales with information regarding customer purchasing patterns and demands. As required, performs outside sales calls.

· Establishes relationships and rapport with customers to create partnerships that benefit both parties. Attempts to know the names of all customers' principals.

· Maintains the showroom, warehouse, and exterior of the business to the highest cleanliness and aesthetic standards. Ensures that showroom merchandising and appearance support sales objectives.

· Resolves customer complaints and disputes in a timely and professional manner that strikes a balance between customer needs and business requirements.

· Establishes, communicates, and demonstrates performance standards for all team members in the branch. Ensures expectations are met by monitoring reports, soliciting consumer feedback, observing employee performance, and taking remedial action or rewarding employees as required. Conduct formal employee evaluations annually and informal coaching throughout the year.

· Provides a safe working environment by communicating safety rules; observing and coaching employees in complying with safety rules.

· Supervises warehousing and delivery operations, including receiving, labeling and storage, as well as order fulfillment. Sets and oversees delivery schedules to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time.

· Ensures the security and correct maintenance of all branch property, equipment, and other assets through the development of security systems and processes and the implementation of a regular maintenance schedule for equipment.

· Controls branch operational costs, such as labor, supplies, freight, utilities, etc., to maintain the overall profitability of the branch.

· Balances the cash drawer daily and prepares the daily bank deposit. • Ensures that executives are well-informed and up-to-date on branch operations by giving ongoing updates and status reports.
