Boeing Global Services BGS is seeking a Business Operations Specialist Manager in Renton, WA., Long Beach, CA., or Plano, TX.

In this role you will be Responsible for the maintenance, integration and continuous improvement of management systems. Acquires resources for projects and processes while driving process improvement initiatives. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Ensures consistent usage of Program Management Best Practices. Partner with the business to idnetify and drive Lean initiatives in their operations.

Working with geographically diverse businesses and teams, you and your team will assist in establishing effective Program cadences, reporting requirements and execution visibility of Key Performance Indicators as well as development and prioritization of strategic business objectives.

The ideal candidate will already be familiar with the wide range of Commercial Aftermarket services, processes and tools and have experience in championing lean+/Agile improvements that realize benefits across the entire value stream. Additionally, be able to work towards successful implementations of current and future Work Movement activities through the application of project management practices and be an effective communicator at the executive and individual contributor levels.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to BGS Commercial Modifications, Engineering and Specialty Products and Commercial Training Solutions leaders to drive organizational efficiency and operational excellence
  • Collects, organizes, and visualizes data into insights, according to established processes and with the use of digital tools within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and stakeholder commitments
  • Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies, processes, and KPIs to track progress to and enable attainment of business goals
  • Identify and lead Lean initiatives across the operations of the buisnesses supported
  • Guide and facilitate the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals
  • Drive new ways of working that motivate and engage a mobile, technologically fluent, globally distributed workforce
  • Lead team in driving Agile mindset to ensure a focus and finish mentality for key projects/initiatives
  • Drive improvements to operational health through the use Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) management system to ensure execution of mitigation planning
  • Assist in recoveries and remedies across Programs and ensure these actions are captured and realized in a timely manner

This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at the listed location option. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years’ experience in project or program management
  • 5 or more years’ experience leading projects that involve cross functional teams
  • 3 or more years’ experience with Agile or business transformation
  • 5 or more years’ experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
  • 5 or more years’ experience using program management best practices
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Prior experience as a manager preferred

Summary pay range: 169,150 – 228,850
