Description:

This role will be responsible for creating the master schedule, optimizing work center manufacturing plans, and purchasing material according to system generated demand requirements. This position will be responsible for the overall inventory performance within their respective product lines and responsible to align all stakeholders to the plan and processes. The buying activities will consist of procuring raw materials, components, equipment, OEM parts, supplies and services to meet the required demands.

• Manage daily, weekly and monthly site planning processes to support manufacturing builds and global customers on time delivery.
• Manage net requirements, past due production orders, and past due planned orders.
• Perform master data review and maintenance as required.
• Provide projections for components,subassemblies and finished goods inventory.
• Manage inventory to achieve targeted objectives, understand stocking strategies and statistical safety stock modeling, monitor inventory performance to plan and targets.
• Proactively manage backorders
• Determines material requirements(MRP) from SAP/QAD and/or engineering and production schedules, and buy materials to maintain inventory at planned levels.
• All activities must be performed in compliance with the Quality System.
