Eggslut GCM - 317 S. Broadway, Stall D-1, Los Angeles, CA 90013

Hours of Operation: 8:00AM - 2:00PM, 7 Days A Week

OBJECTIVE

The FOH Cashier is responsible for greeting guests and taking their orders. While taking orders, FOH staff is responsible for operating the POS, and collecting payment. Attention to detail and emphasis on hospitality is a must. The main focus is to service all guests at the restaurant and maintain high end hospitality, food standards, and a clean, safe work area according to company standards. The FOH cashier is responsible for maintaining proper FOH procedures and ensuring accuracy in all cash handling.

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt; Hourly + Tips

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

*The ability to speak, see, hear, read, and write - mobility and manual dexterity *The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction *The ability to bend, crouch, stand and perform the movement for up to 8-10 hours a day *The ability to lift heavy items (20+ lbs) *The ability to be exposed to wet floors, noise, and temperature extremes *The ability to perform in a fast-paced, busy environment with attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

*Must have valid U.S. identification/work authorization (required) *ServSafe certified (or other Food Handler certification) *A highly-driven individual who enjoys working with people *The right attitude necessary to work in a fast-paced environment with others *Ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed *Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills *Demonstrate commitment to excellent guest service

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

*Work register and take customer orders *Collect payments (cash or credit/debit cards) and make changes for customers *Assist customers, provide information, and answer any customer questions *Maintain checkout operations by following policies and procedures *Maintain a clean and organized workstation *Refill paper items as needed, clean up after customers; taking trash, and wiping down counter(s) *Float (with purpose) throughout the restaurant during shift *Organize displays, menus, areas affected during service *Assure that the highest standards for product quality and service are upheld (proper food presentation) *Maintain high guest satisfaction (address mistakes, emphasize quality of service for guest satisfaction and retention) *Expedite food to customers by order *Assist BOH when expediting food to customers *- When needed, calling tickets and wrapping sandwiches on the line to help ticket times and flow of operation *- Maintain and complete FOH cleaning lists and schedules *- Ensure dry storage deliveries are properly put away and stored accordingly (clean and organized) *- Assist in handling and resolving customer complaints *Maintain constant communication with management

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $14.25 - $15.00/hour.
