Join our team as a Back Office Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist in our busy multi-specialty medical clinic in Watsonville. Ideal candidate will have 1+ years of medical assisting experience in an outpatient clinic.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Greet and room patients
• Establish reason for patient visit
• Measure and record vital signs
• Enter data into EHR
• Communicate with providers and front office staff
• Assist providers with running on schedule
• Sanitize exam rooms
• Send prescriptions to pharmacy
• Review and sort faxes
• Schedule follow up appointments
• Make phone calls

Job qualifications Include:

• 1 Year + medical assisting experience in clinic setting
• Excellent Phlebotomy skills
• EHR/EMR familiarity
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Professional demeanor
• Positive, "can-do", team-player attitude
• Efficient/effective time-management skills
• Compassionate dedication to serving patients
• Warm and caring personality
• Ability to learn new tasks and processes quickly
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Availability from 7:45 AM and 5:45 PM

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
