We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chief of Staff to support our Founder and Managing Partner. As Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and successful completion of the CEO Office’s most vital tasks, as well as pushing current projects and strategic goals across the finish line.

This is a challenging role that requires someone who is eager to dive deeply into the alternative asset management space.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Thinking: Collaborate with our investment, marketing, and operations teams to establish and execute strategic initiatives that drive the growth and success of the organization.
  • Gatekeeping: Ensure the Managing Partner is involved in the decision-making processes at the right moments and manage their calendar and schedule. You will also ensure that the rest of the firm is up to date on all relevant happenings.
  • Project and Information Management: Push the team to complete strategic projects and coordinate regular internal and external deliverables. You'll maintain open communication with all teams, ensuring our partners are well-informed of all happenings to support with anticipating needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc. This will be through note taking, daily meetings and entering data into our CRM.
  • Materials Creation and Meeting Prep: Produce and edit marketing materials, tear sheets, investment memos, and other presentations. Collect and prepare information for meetings with staff, clients, hedge fund managers, and other groups within the Clocktower network.
  • Special Projects. You'll support with designing and producing complex documents, reports, and presentations; collecting and preparing information for meetings with staff and outside parties; composing and preparing correspondence, maintaining contacts lists.
  • Event Planning. You'll help plan and execute Clocktower events and conferences, ensuring our firm’s vision is fully executed.
  • Team Player. Work with the other departments and often coordinate efforts ensuring that all necessary office functions are appropriately covered.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in the alternative asset management, banking, and/or consulting industry.
  • We are seeking someone who can take responsibility for mission-critical work and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, while working well under pressure.
  • A relentless focus on quality of execution and attention to detail, with a friendly, positive attitude.
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who doesn’t require constant attention but knows when to step up and ask for help and is never afraid to take a stab at problem solving.
  • Total commitment to honesty and integrity, always expressing opinions in a professional manner.
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. CRM experience is a plus.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000. Compensation may vary based on experience, training, and education. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
