Job Description

This is a position involving an aptitude for mechanical ability. Performs routine preventative maintenance, cleaning and inspections of plastic injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment. This position also involves routine fixture repair and building maintenance.

Under general supervision is responsible for the following major tasks:

• Performs daily visual inspections of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment (i.e., grinders, die heaters, dryers, cranes, etc.)
• Lubricates all machinery in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and production requirements.
• Performs routine cleaning of equipment as required by the preventative maintenance schedule.
• Performs and assists in maintenance repairs as assigned.

High school diploma or GED required.

Must possess the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

• Portage, MI 49002: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
