BioCorp Clinical Lab is a College of American Pathologist (CAP)-accredited, well-established, Southern California-based independent reference lab servicing doctor’s offices, urgent care sites and reference labs stretching from San Diego to central California. Our staff consists of more than 70 Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS), lab assistants, phlebotomists and other lab personnel. We are seeking experienced detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientists with an active California CLS license, that will fit into our teamwork-oriented, high-quality environment.
Job Description:
Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
The CLS, as a generalist, will perform all phases of clinical assays in most sections of the laboratory. The CLS will report to the lab manager and will aid in providing oversight of the general operations in the laboratory, including performing and overseeing preventative maintenance, sample handling, and reagent inventory. The CLS will be involved with all pre-analytical, analytical and post analytical phases of testing. The applicant must have excellent communication skills, be flexible with their work schedule, as schedules dictate. The CLS will participate in proficiency testing and adhere to all regulatory requirements as specified by CDPH, CAP, and CLIA. Instrumentation at BioCorp includes: Hologic Panther, Siemens Atellica, Beckman DxH900, Arkray AU-4050, Sysmex CS-2500, Bio-Rad Variant Turbo, and the Shimadzu LC- MS/MS. Expertise with any of these instruments is valued, but not required.
