The Clinical Recruiter will coordinate the recruitment and hiring of Dentists and Hygienists for SGA Dental Partners.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Consults with Chief Clinical Officer to determine projected needs for clinical staff over the coming year. Plans recruiting program based on dental practice needs and specialized qualifications for anticipated positions.
  • Recruit, screen, and match qualified dental care professionals with positions at one of our partner practices.
  • Allocates recruiting resources between advertising and placement fees for higher-level positions and job fairs or college recruiting trips for new graduates. Develops advertisements for newspapers and professional journals for experienced clinicians.
  • Attends job fairs and arranges with college and dental/hygiene school placement offices for on-campus interview dates. Reviews resume, conducts interviews and checks academic records and previous work experience.
  • Plans opportunities for candidates to visit and tour the dental practice. Arranges interviews for promising candidates with the Chief Clinical Officer and organizational stakeholders.
  • Facilitates recordkeeping, handles correspondence, and maintains relations with college and dental/hygiene school placement officers and dental care employment services.
  • Establishes contacts in the dental community through membership and participation in professional associations.
  • Maintains and develops clinical staffing tracker.
  • Coordinates efforts with the human resource recruiting office.
  • Assumes and executes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of dental specialties, opportunities, and qualifications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interview candidates effectively and establish good professional relations with college officials and others in the dental community.
  • Adheres to a culture of professionalism and operational excellence and drives for results.
  • Prioritizes changing demands, multi-tasks, and creatively meets deadlines in a dynamic but independent environment.
  • Organizational agility. Knows how to get things done both through formal channels and informal methods.
  • Willingness to travel extensively on recruiting assignments.
  • Required travel: 75%.

Education and Experience:

  • Hygienist experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience.
  • Preferred two years of recruiting experience.
  • Exceptional oral & written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products, internet job boards, and internet recruiting.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
