OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Medical Coding Specialist, internally known as a Clinical Documentation Educator (CDE), to be responsible for providing clinical documentation review, training and support, in all care settings, to physicians and providers. Synthesizes and analyzes local monitoring chart reviews and national audit findings to provide actionable feedback. Multiple levels are available based upon skillset and experience.

A qualified candidate has 1+ year of coding, medical records, claims and/or billing experience. Must be able to obtain a Certified Risk Coder (CRC) certification within 18 months of hire. For job details visit https://hawaii.permanente.org.

Salary commensurate based on qualifications. This position will require the Medical Coding Specialist to travel to different sites as necessary.
