GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking a Commercial Grade Dedication SME to join our team. This position is full-time and will serve the Nevada National Security Site in North Las Vegas, NV.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Must understand NQA-1 / QAR standards and documentation.
• Must be familiar with National & International Standards & Specification such as: ASTM, ASME, ANSI, AGS, AWS, ISO, DIN.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Clearance Level Required:
Uncleared - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Clearance

Per Diem / Travel Authorized:
To Be Determined

Overview:

• Develop and execute CGD plans.
• Effectively interface with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Procurement groups.
• Follow and enforce CGD best practices and procedures.
• Provide clear direction regarding CGD tasks and perform analysis.
• Assist with specification review, national / international standards, and contractual compliance.
• If needed, assist with NQA-1 audits and CGD Surveys.
• Issue corrective action reports and facilitate completion and successful closure.

Clearance & Citizenship Requirement:

• To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
• Due to the nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is required.

The NNSA's Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) helps ensure the security of the United States and its allies by supporting the stewardship of the nuclear deterrent, providing emergency response capability and training, and contributing to key nonproliferation and arms control initiatives. It executes unique national-level experiments, supports national security customers, manages the legacy of the nuclear deterrent, and provide long-term environmental stewardship for site missions (energy.gov).
