Job Title: Commissioning Agent
Salary: $90-110k
Location: Omaha, NE
Our client is looking for a Commissioning Agent with at least 5 years of experience. Founded in 1968 in Omaha, NE, this engineering firm is developing an AI technology that allows for the autonomous and conflict-free design of buildings, which speeds up construction process, significantly lowers construction costs, and reduces running costs and carbon footprint over the long term.
Approx. 20% travel, needs to be willing to do the commissioning field and paperwork along with the development of commissioning templates. This will be a position where business growth is a factor and is intended to be a leadership position in the future. Ideal location is Omaha, but can be in NYC, MIA, or Pasadena
- Collecting pre-design conditions of MEP/FP systems.
- Prepare commissioning documents, such as OPR, BOD, commissioning plans, specifications, and responsibility maps.
- Examine building designs for energy efficiency and LEED requirements and administer building commissioning programs.
- Provide analysis to ensure installed equipment complies with design intent, maintenance requirements, and client expectations
- Coordinate with contractors, field representatives, architects, consultants, and other parties to ensure that the Commissioning Plan is implemented smoothly.
- 5+ years experience commissioning commercial buildings
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- MS Office
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar
Ideally:
- Familiarity with latest National CAD/BIM Standards
- Background in the MEP/FP Engineering industry
- 5+ years experience in maintaining HVAC Systems and DDC/BAS Control Systems.
