Mauser Packaging Solutions is a global leader in solutions and services across the packaging lifecycle, providing packaging worldwide to companies in industries from food, personal care, paints and chemicals.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for document control of all specifications for Manufacturing Specs, tooling drawings, sheet layouts, and packaging drawings. Managing the control of the document files and drawing databases.
  • Controls documents for plant use for all products. Also standardizes drawings between plants.
  • Creates bill of materials for the business to ensure proper use of materials.
  • Works with cross functional teams to validate the needs of the plants.
  • Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
  • Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Creates and maintains a database with latest revisions of all documentation.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Uses 3D Cad systems to create and maintain drawings for the division.
  • Develop a process for the drawings control and implementation for ISO registrations.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineer and/or 3-5 years of similar or related industry experience
  • Expert user in 3D cad systems (Inventor, SolidWorks or SolidEdge)
  • Willing to travel 30% of the time.
