Description:MFC is seeking a LG3 cost analyst to join the Independent Cost Evaluation (ICE) team in Grand Prairie, TX. Duties include:
Develop predictive cost/risk models to forecast the technical, schedule, and performance cost risk associated with Missiles and Fire Control programs.
Research, analyze and review databases, hardware descriptions, statements of work, vendor quotations, and other elements in developing independent estimates.
Determine the program cost and risk drivers, the effect of profit sensitivities, and the probability of meeting internal and corporate financial commitments.
Create new and innovative cost estimating relationships and determine the relevance to apply or modify to subsequent similar projects.
Manage direct contact with key program personnel (Program Managers, Integrated Product Team Leads, etc.
Coordinate, communicate, and reconcile results to all areas of the business.
Present results (written and oral) to ICE management with the opportunity to brief executive management
Basic Qualifications:
Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
Experience working with databases
Experience in working with spreadsheet models and utilizing advanced spreadsheet functions
Comfortable working under tight deadlines with a very general supervision
Strong written and oral communication skills
Expertise with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience with database tools and design
Experience in developing cost/risk spreadsheet models
CSR and proposal processes
Contract terms and conditions (FFP, FPI, CP, etc.)
LM data systems (SAP, EFS, etc.)
LM pricing/finance/accounting systems/processes
LM rate structure
Earned value/financial metrics
Macro/visual basic programming
Learning curves/standards/build-rate adjustment methods
Decision science, statistical, risk assessment, Monte Carlo simulation tools
MFC product lines and manufacturing processes
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
