Reports To: Restaurant Management Team

Primary Responsibilities:

To serve and suggestively sell drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts in an outgoing,
friendly and timely manner so as to “WOW” our guests. Responsible for accurate cash handling.

Specific Functions and Duties:

• Interacts with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Carries food and drinks to all areas of the restaurant throughout the entire shift.
• Busses tables and provides assistance or refills of beverages to our guests as needed.
• Checks and ensures the overall cleanliness of the restrooms every 30 minutes.
• Understands and uses the P.O.S. (point of sale) system to clock-in/out and process/input orders.
• Restocks service items as needed, i.e., glasses, ice.
• Empties trashcans when needed.
• Completes assigned cleaning duties.

Qualification Standards:

• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off of the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
• Capable of using knives and other food preparation equipment.
• Transports garbage and cases of miscellaneous product weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Handles multiple priorities; work under stress and exercise good judgment.
• Communicates with guests demonstrating confidence; encourages guests to feel relaxed, comfortable and special.

Physical Standards:

• Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length and to lift, bend, and stoop.
• Must have the ability to frequently lift and carry bus tubs, trays and other objects weighing 25 pounds or more.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
