Job Description

Southwest Austin legal service company has an immediate opening for a Billing Assistant responsible for creating invoices and issuing them to clients. No experience necessary – we train!

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepare and issues invoices to clients and third parties.
  • Review associated documents for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Handle high volume of invoice processing and distribution.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues communicated by clients.

Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with others in cooperative, enthusiastic and friendly manner to accomplish position functions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to use sound judgement, research discrepancies, and resolve issues.
  • Effective communication and organization skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of general office experience preferred.
  • Clear background and criminal history check

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm when first employee then flexible 8-hour schedule once trained.
