South Austin Multi-family Apartment complex seeks overnight Courtesy Patrol Person.

We are a privately owned Multi-family home that is looking for a full-time, overnight Courtesy Patrol Person for our South Austin property.

Courtesy Patrol Job Responsibilities:

• Interact with residents and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informs violators of policy and procedures.
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property and access points.
• Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
• Controls traffic by directing visitors and delivery drivers.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Maintains the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• This is not an armed position.

The shift is currently Sunday evenings (varied start time 8pm-10pm) through Thursday evening/Friday morning (varied end time 4am-6am). Friday and Saturday evenings off for a total of 40 hours/week. The shift is possibly open to rearrangement for the right candidate.

Qualifications and Skills

• Although this position uses a patrol vehicle you will be required to walk in some areas.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Basic computer skills
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Excellent sense of judgment
• Can stay alert at all times

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of security experience
• CPR/First Aid certified (not required but a plus)
• Clean driving record
• No felony or drug convictions.
