Situated in Downtown’s Second Street District, Austin Proper Hotel and Residences is the newest luxury lifestyle hotel in Austin, just steps from Lady Bird Lake, the legendary Austin City Limits music venue and nearby boutiques. With inspiring interiors by Kelly Wearstler and culinary offerings in collaboration with McGuire Moorman Hospitality, Austin Proper offers 244 rooms and suites, a dedicated spa and fitness center, and 14,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, including a rooftop pool deck offering small-batch tequilas and sunset views. Anything less just wouldn’t be Proper.

We are seeking a motivated, service-driven Creative Marketing Manager to join our team. This key role will report directly to both the General Manager as well as the Corporate Creative Director.

The ideal candidate will be laser-focused on assisting in building the brand through values and culture, shaping its program and direction, as well as defining all elements of the brand experience and ensuring both consistency and brand integrity across all guest touch points.

Responsibilities:

  • Brand operations: Assist in maintaining the brand consistency and respect of the style guidelines setting up across the property. Responsibilities include ensuring all operational departments comply with brand standards.
  • Marketing operations: Provide support to the operation teams on all marketing aspects, assist in collaterals creation, marketing channels update and accuracy.
  • Public Relations: Assist in PR execution, supporting logistics and coordinating with the property staff
  • Social media: Assist in community management and content creation for the hotel and the F&B outlets
  • Partnership & Programming:
  • Make positive connections with partners, initiate creative partnership ideas for the hotels and the F&B outlets
  • Provide logistical support for partnerships, weekly activations, monthly collaborations & pop-up
  • Content creation: Assist in creating social media assets & promotional materials, and provide logistical support for photoshoots

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Experience in events, social media, non-traditional marketing + PR
  • Ability to adjust schedules as needed based on hotel needs
  • Notions in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign and Acrobat
  • Experience working with and leveraging Digital Asset Management tools for creative development and project management software
  • Highly effective communicator
  • Knowledge of cultural landscape
  • Familiarity and passion for hospitality, art and design
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
