This position is an integral part of the Americas credit team’s efforts to ensure robust and commercially sound credit decisions are taken to support our sales teams’ efforts to grow business with our U.S. and Canadian customers.

Key Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of credit and risk analysis required, preferably in a bank or other finance institution focused on credit-related investment analysis
  • Dynamic commercial credit and risk assessment experience
  • Extraordinary skills in financial statement analysis and evaluation of credit dynamics is required
  • Strong communication skills with ability to provide succinct and articulate credit analysis and recommendations – within Apple, as well as with customers’ finance leaders
  • Negotiation experience with risk mitigation instruments and documentation
  • Strong social and organizational skills with participation in cross-functional teams to improve processes
  • Experience analyzing telecommunications, distribution and retail industry segments, a strong plus
  • Trade credit assessment / collections experience a plus
  • Distressed / workout experience a plus
  • SAP systems experience a plus

Description

Position will directly lead a select number of accounts in the U.S. and Canada portfolio Analyze financials and assess credit worthiness of corporate customers, with specific focus on the telecommunications, distribution and electronic retail sectors Due diligence including customer interaction, credit screening of potential new customers and monitoring of existing customers Assessing credit limit requirements and recommending new credit limits or changes in limits that are appropriate for customers’ risk profile Prepare quarterly portfolio and customer level credit reviews Build positive relationship with work partners in Sales Finance, Sales, Operations, Global Finance Shared Service Potential to also lead credit workflow of the group, depending upon level of experience

Education & Experience

Bachelor degree required; preference in business with concentrations in accounting, finance and economics MBA, CPA or CFA a plus

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $96,500 and $145,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
