This position will work from a home office, but must be within a commutable distance (~90 minutes) to Brookings, South Dakota for onsite onboarding, training, home office connectivity issues etc.

25-29 hours per week.

Some Saturdays and holidays will be required, see below.

The LARSON Customer Service team is comprised of front-line professionals who take pride in ensuring an excellent customer experience. They are the personal connection between our company and our retail customers. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be answering pricing, delivery and product questions for the stores that purchase our product. You will quote and enter orders, and resolve issues for our customers. In this fast-paced and supportive environment, you’ll be talking on the phone and using online tools as you assist store associates.
  • Communicate directly with LARSON customers by phone, email, or chat.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
  • Provide pricing and delivery information.
  • Enter orders and process warranty claims with required accuracy.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal and external contacts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain or exceed all departmental customer satisfaction and performance goals.
  • Complete other projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED). Some college desirable.
  • Related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills including data entry, instant message, email, and word processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal, writing and grammar skills.
  • Superb listening skills.
  • Analytical thinking and an ability to communicate detailed instructions effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer focused attitude.
  • Some Saturdays (about 6-8 a year) and holidays.
