ABOUT THE JOB:

The responsibility of the Customer Service Representative is to provide all-around help to the General Manager of a start-up division within an established company. Including filing, organizing, taking phone calls, assisting with purchasing and general secretarial duties.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist sales reps by providing literature and other advertising materials as needed and keeping up with the sales rep agreements
  • Coordinate trade shows and occasionally attending or setting up shows as required
  • Assisting with purchasing (making parts lists for Park USA to purchase for jobs)
  • Filing of important documents file management on the server as well as hard copy
  • Assisting in the making of submittals and O&M manuals
  • Making and maintaining job folders
  • Making and maintaining excel spreadsheets on equipment
  • Assist in making PowerPoints for presentations
  • Assist in making flyers for new equipment
  • Assist in making data sheets on equipment
  • Assist management in efforts to grow the business
  • Assist with project work as directed by Management
  • Comply with all ParkUSA policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is necessary in order to perform the essential functions of this position.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates degree from an accredited college preferred but not required
  • 1-year experience in a corporate office environment, Sales office preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to read, write and speak in the English language

  • Medium work: Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Visual Acuity

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

Vision Requirements:

Over 2/3 of the time the worker is required to have:

  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)

Up to 2/3 of time the worker is required to have:

  • Distance vision (clear feet at 20 feet or more)
  • Ability to adjust visual focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

The worker is subject to both environmental conditions throughout their day: activities occur inside the office environment and outside in production or the yards.
