What this position does:
- Carries out the automation of new data extraction from various sources, including the MS SQL Server and Oracle databases, refreshable Excel reports, emailed reports, and downloaded reports.
- Builds and manages interactive reports and dashboards in Excel, PowerPoint, and on the server.
- Standardizes data reporting processes.
- Generates ad-hoc reports with a quick turnaround time to answer stakeholders’ questions as they arise.
- Researches, analyzes, and transforms data for the operations team.
- Strategizes with the operations team on effective ways to improve processes and productivity.
What you should have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst
- Be a self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel
- Excitement for working in a fast-paced environment
- Outgoing and positive personality
- Strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge and experience with SQL (especially Transact-SQL and Oracle SQL) for pulling database data.
- Strong knowledge and experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation.
- Experience with Python or the R scripting language for data analysis and handling large data volume.
- Experience in data visualization.
