Job Description

We are looking for someone patient, compassionate, kind and caring with Christian beliefs, to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facility. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination. Past experience in daycare setting, able to work well with others is a plus. Pay is based on experience and certifications.

Responsibilities

Must pass background check

• Attend staff meetings and trainings
• Develop and encourage age appropriate learning
• Encourage socialization between peers
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) to enhance the child’s abilities
• Ensure children are learning positive behaviors and provide guidance as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience as a child care / daycare teacher
• Excellent knowledge of child development
• Methodical and creative
• Patience, flexibility and love for children
• Strong communication and time management skills
• CPR and First Aid
• ACDS or WVIT

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.50 per hour
