Job Description

Our client seeking a dependable and experienced Delivery Driver to join their busy delivery team. You will load up your truck with orders and deliver them to customer locations around the local area. We expect you to be courteous and professional when interacting with customers. All of the delivery staff must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be able to list up to 50 pounds. You also must be familiar with the area to ensure you make on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements
• Load and organize product inventory from the warehouse into your vehicle and unload products in and out of the truck as needed throughout the day
• Follow scheduled route for daily deliveries
• Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner
• Collect signature or payment if necessary upon arrival to the recipient client
• Document delivery time and location
• Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy
• Maintain truck to ensure it remains in good driving condition
