Developer/Technical Analyst - Payment Domain ( Payment/Validation, EDI format, CSV, NACHA, EDI) - Chicago, IL/Charlotte, NC/Minneapolis, MN/Dallas, TX

We’re bringing in boatloads of PM’s and transmissions setup people, but we could use a couple of really great analysts / engineers that could do the following. We’re looking for the file format familiarity and ability to quickly edit / assemble test files and analyze client files that are sent.

Skills:

· Understands various file formats such as CSV, NACHA, BAI, EDI, fixed length.

· Understands file encoding and difference between Unix, windows, and mainframe line terminator.

· Can translate a files or update files using a universal text editor such as VI, emacs etc.

· Ability to perform sed and awk operations to manipulate text is a plus.

· Ability to script ad-hoc file transformations in python or java with quick turnaround is essential

· Literacy with banking file formats such as NACHA, CSV, BAI2 etc. is helpful but not essential.

· Should have excellent attention to detail

· Should be able to perform in a very secure data environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $80.00 per hour
