Job Description

Train and orientate program managers and empower them to act as effective, engaged leaders
Provides operational oversight of facilities to ensure that licensing rules are followed.
Ensure adequate workforce needs through hiring and employee retention.
Ensure that facilities and grounds are properly maintained along with a keen eye to seamless delivery of compassionate care to individuals with intellectual and development disabilities.
Develop, implement and monitor communications systems designed for safe and efficient operations and resolution of problems.
Oversee the training of direct care personnel in delivering person-centered care.
Provide guidance, insight and innovation to ensure that staff are able to meet resident's behavioral, emotional, physical, and social needs.
Provide strategic leadership and oversight to foster a success-oriented and accountable environment
Manage the HR process including recruiting, counseling sessions, performance evaluation and recognition programs.
Assess new residents to ensure appropriate fit for our programs. Manage the admission and discharge process.
Ensure that residents are attending regularly scheduled doctors' appointments and medical reviews and that orders are being followed.
Facilitate community integration initiatives including registration for day programs, vocational programs, and other programmatic thrusts.
Manage cost for each facility.
Employ strategies that are both cost effective and impactful toward the cost of the residents.
Maintains organizational integrity.
Ensures that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations in governing business operations.
Complies with the organizations safety policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with governmental licensing and regulatory requirements where applicable.
