Job Description: Ecological Landscaping Crew Member

Place of Work: On-site locations in Twin Cities metro area

Duration: May 2023 until end of landscaping season (mid-November)

Working Hours: 9:00 – 5:00pm, Tuesday – Friday, occasional Monday hours. (32hrs/wk)

Wages: $19 – 22/hr. based on experience

Come grow with Local Roots Landscapers! We are looking for hard-working, creative, nature-loving people to join our team for the 2022 landscaping season.

Ecological Landscaping Crew Members will work as part of the team to help complete each project. Job duties include planting, shoveling, pitch forking, wheel barrowing, watering, raking, weeding, edging, and constructing natural stone paths, patios, and walls. Preference will be given to applicants with landscaping/hardscaping experience.

Crew Member Qualifications:

• 1+ year in landscaping, gardening, farming, or related work
• Valid driver's license
• Familiarity with hand tools
• Able to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive motions
• Strong work ethic
• Proactive communicator
• Must have reliable transportation to arrive at work site daily

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

As a small crew working outside, we have a low-risk work environment. Nevertheless, we consider the health and safety of our crew and clients a top priority. Employees must be vaccinated and willing to follow recommended health/safety guidelines.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Landscaping/Farming/Hardscaping: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
