TITLE: Electrical/Electronic engineer
LOCATION: Hybrid preferred / Remote considered
PAY: Target pay for this role is between $35 per hour but may vary based on experience
ENGAGEMENT TYPE: Contract 24 months

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• The main function of an electrical/electronic engineer within the Power Network team is to design, develop and test the integration of electrical components with respect to the system architecture in Autonomous, standard diesel, and e-Mobility heavy-duty applications, as well as create, improve, interpret and implement electrical standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist component and feature owners within electrical power system integration team with spec writing, bench testing, brainstorming, collaborating and documenting.
• Design of vehicle power systems components within the context of the power network architecture.
• Empirical testing of power systems components.
• Interpretation and implementation of specifications from standardizing bodies (SAE, ISO), as well as Daimler standards for electrical design.
• Contribute towards system-level design decisions for the power network architecture of heavy duty vehicles.
• Provide periodic updates to the team on existing assignments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 1+ year experience
• Vector tools
• Self-starter and motivated

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electrical architecture and power networks preferred
