Cambridge Montessori School, a well-established Montessori school in Sugar Land, is looking for a qualified, passionate, inspiring, and kind Summer Elementary Teacher for our K- 2nd graders. Hours will be from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Develop curriculum
2. Create and implement daily lesson plans that are engaging and educational
3. Establish and enforce a set of rules for the classroom
4. Grade assignments and tests
5. Keep parents updated on their child's progress
6. Prepare students for standardized tests
7. Maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Qualifications:
1. An Associates or Bachelor's Degree
2. Classroom management and leadership skills
3. Previous experience in teaching Elementary students
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Ability to build rapport with students
