The Engineering Developmental Test Lead is responsible for supporting asset monitoring, inventory, changing management, processes’ and systems integration. Description

Operate custom automation equipment with safety as the highest priority. Effectively and efficiently coordinate, execute and debrief complex test requests from multiple engineering team customers. Perform regimented testing to qualify software and hardware against a set of planned capabilities. Work with teams of a variety of disciplines to execute tests to specifications, troubleshoot issues experienced, and provide detailed feedback around behaviors and performance. Contribute to failure analysis efforts by conveying an accurate and concise description of issues experienced during testing. Utilize scripting languages to manipulate testing parameters, or resolve issues experienced during testing. Maintain flexibility and a high level of quality during testing where multiple overlapping deadlines requires teamwork, clear communication, and attention to detail. Demonstrate a high degree of independence and teamwork. Identify process gaps and provide innovative solutions to maximize program resource allocation within a given budget. Ensure secure delivery of sensitive devices/assets and associated data. Look to solve problems rather than report on them.

Education & Experience

Degree in STEM, engineering or technical field desired

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $104,000 and $190,000 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
