Hiring Entry Level Marketing Associates

Represent and fundraise at events for our well-known charity organization

Our organization is working on behalf of a highly-rated charity of over 50 years who work on behalf of getting kids out of abusive homes, and raise funds for the foster care system. Funds raised go towards getting kids out of abusive homes, placing them with safe foster homes, opening more advocacy centers, and donating every day essentials, so kids have their own belongings.

We are seeking top talent to join our rapidly growing team. We are committed to developing leaders, providing excellent leadership training and growth opportunities to those with the drive to put their mark on our campaigns. In this role you will be a part of our fundraising team, the front lines to keep our organization afloat. You will be attending many different high foot traffic events, indoors and outdoors, to promote our organization. You will be speaking to guests to spread the word about our organization, encourage them to donate funds, and explain where those funds go towards.

This is a great role for outgoing candidates. This is an entry level role, no prior experience is necessary but customer service experience preferred.

General responsibilities:

• Have an outgoing personality to engage with a wide variety of people on our charity efforts
• Comfortable engaging potential donors in a one or one, or group setting
• Help the development of fundraising campaigns, the set up/displays/merchandise, the execution / presenting our message to the community, and reporting back the results
• Participate in a wide variety of fundraising events (indoors and outdoors) where you will speak with potential donors and explain what our organization does. Events are always different and changing
• Encourage guests to donate, and explain exactly what those funds would be going towards
• Strive to turn every interaction into a donation
• Be able to answer any questions from potential donors regarding our charitable partners and ensure that the utmost professionalism is held in these interactions
• Have a self motivating, competitive spirit in order to help raise as much money as possible
• Participate in daily and weekly team meetings at the office where goals will be discussed, set, and also contribute individual feedback to improve as a company

Qualifications we're looking for:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Some weekend availability required
• Must have a passion for helping others and a love for working with the public
• Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, and be able to adapt to speaking with various audiences for hours at a time
• Must be a team player and bring a competitive spirit to help drive the team towards its goals
• Must possess a self motivating drive to hit individual and team donation goals
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
