Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage timelines for projects, organize activities, establish the sequence of executives for these activities, identify the needs and resources required
  • Negotiate, define, communicate and manage the scope of a project
  • Look for process improvements to help the teamwork as efficiently as possible
  • Surface project issues and proactively make recommendations for solutions
  • Participate in the development of project and task estimates by working with team members to produce initial estimates and calculate the resources required to deliver the project tasks
  • Manage day to day operation aspects of a project (including meeting scheduling and documentation through minutes/notes/actions).
  • Monitor progress, communicate with the team and stakeholders and prepare and present project status reports
  • Conduct post-project/milestone reviews to provide feedback and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Develop and maintain overall technical relationships with customers
  • Visit customers frequently to help design products with high performance and low cost recommendations. Secure design wins and provides customer feedback to internal teams.
  • Follow up on inquiries for delivery information. Work closely with manufacturing in production control regarding deliveries of scheduled shipments.
  • Work with customer engineering and R&D teams in the development of new products
  • Prepare materials and participate in product presentations
  • Evaluate market trends and make recommendations for new product development
  • Handle any other tasks assigned by the reporting manager

Qualifications:
  • BS/MS degree in engineering/science or equivalent is preferred
  • 3 -5 years of experience in project management or operation related roles
  • Background and experience working in an OEM environment is a plus
  • Technical sales support experience in interconnect design and system integration preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
