Shipyard Staffing has open and upcoming positions for Firewatch/General Labor in Everett, WA.

Marine Firewatch/General Labor Job Duties:
- MUST BE A US CITIZEN
- MUST BE DBIDS ELIGIBLE
- MUST BE LOCAL TO THE AREA
- Assist welders in Setting up for hot work
- Assisting all trades in the set and tear down of various projects shipboard
- General shipyard labor
- Moving equipment and supplies to multiple locations on the ship
- Policing area for flammable/combustible material and keeping it safely away from hot work.
- Cleaning area during cooldown and at end of shift
- Staying alert and aware for hazardous situations or fires that may occur during the course of hotwork.
- Other duties as assigned
Marine Firewatch/General Labor Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must pass background and drug screen
- 1 year of shipyard experience
- Maritime OSHA 10 (if you don’t have it, we will provide the class at no cost)
- Firewatch certification (if you don’t have it, we will provide the class at no cost)
- Respirator fit certification
